Weights and back muscles!

So today was the usual frantic Monday morning madness of getting everyone ready for work, school, daycare, etc... I forgot to make the kids lunches the night before so I had to get that done. I was working out of Port Alberni today which is an hour commute meaning I leave the house by 7am.  All this is a bunch of excuses or to set the scene for why I forgot to pack my runners... :) I realized half way to work and was so annoyed. I've forgotten shorts and sports bra before and was able to whip into Walmart but runners are kind of a deal breaker!!  

I still did my weights routine at my 10am coffee break cause I just take my shoes off for that. I'm not sure how many months now I have been doing weights consistently...maybe 4? and by consistently I mean at least 3 times a week. But I am so pleased in the difference it makes. Who knew 10mins 3x a week could be so beneficial. My back has always been a part of me I have been self-conscious about. A couple weeks ago I was doing push-ups and I could really feel my back muscles. I decided to go home and take a picture of them since I had never really seen them before. I was really surprised...I looked ripped! It gave me such a confidence boost! and the motivation to keep it up!
