Momma to 2 little girls, 7 and 3 years old. I try hard to find a balance between family, work, exercise and healthy eating. I love to run and race...its something I'm extremely passionate about. I'm not so much into dieting. I like to eat and drink (with a particular weakness for chips and ciders) so I focus more on exercise, strength training and planning my indulgences.

Rest Day
Slept well but definitely have caught a cold. I am chugging my lemon water and trying to take it easy. Today was a rest day running-wise so that was nice. I did my weights at morning break and then at lunch just went out for a 30 mins slow walk. They have changed the forecast for sunny with clouds on Sunday which is much more manageable! But I also noticed that one of the fastest women runners from around here has signed up for the race. She can run a 10k in 37mins...so there goes my chance at a repeat win...darn! lol. At least she is a bit younger than me so I still have a chance of winning my age group if not overall.
