Weekly weigh-In and cupcakes!

Thursday was a ridiculously long day. Up and on the road for 4:45am, home at 9:45pm...ugh. Lots of travelling and most of it to take a course. So drive, drive, drive and then sit! I drank too much coffee and then had a hard time falling asleep because I was too wound up. Not only that when I got home I had forgotten to turn off the 4:15 alarm...oops!

Yesterday I took as a flex day though which was much needed! I did my official weigh in and I'm at 136.2 so down 0.4 from last week. Which is actually kinda surprising as I averaged 2500 calories and with the celebration of life and travel day I missed my long run so I only earned 400 exercise calories per day. So to lose a bit of a weight on 2100 calories per day is nice. 


I had a huge to-do list to conquer as today is my daughters 3rd birthday.  I thought there was no way I could squeeze a run in as well!

But at about noon I needed a break and thought I would allow myself an hour :) It felt good to get out and de-stress a bit. I ran at a decent pace as I was trying to get 7miles in. The last mile was a bit tough as it got quite hot and I had a cramp. But I kept telling myself if I got 750 calories that was enough that I could enjoy a cider tonight while doing all my party prep ;) 


I got it done and felt a lot better for it! I need to download some new music though...my current playlist is definitely getting stale!


Next up I made cupcakes and party food. The theme is Peppa Pig and these are the cupcakes I made :) Without consuming a single bite! I made it through a busy Friday night with all this junk food around and stayed within my calories. 


The party is 2-4 today...once again not sure if I will get a run in with the craziness of party prep. We'll just see how the day goes!
